1 Information We Collect
We only collect information that is necessary to operate Library Modules and to provide the features you use, such as accounts, uploads, reviews, and messaging. We group this information into the following categories
a. Account Information
When you register an account, we collect the information you provide directly, such as your username, display name, password, and optionally your email address and social media links (YouTube, Telegram, GitHub, WhatsApp, Discord, website). Your password is never stored in plain text
b. Profile Content
Information you choose to add to your profile, including your profile photo, banner image, and bio, is collected and displayed publicly to other users as part of the normal functioning of the platform
c. Content You Upload
If you use Library Modules as a developer, we collect the modules, applications (APK), screenshots, descriptions, and other metadata you choose to upload and publish. This content is intentionally public and visible to other users, since the core purpose of Library Modules is content sharing
d. Reviews and Messages
When you write a review, reply to a review, or send a message to another user through the Inbox/Chat feature, we collect the content of that review or message (including images you attach) in order to deliver it to the intended recipient and display it in the relevant section
e. Usage & Technical Information
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use our services, such as download counts, like/favorite activity, app version, and general activity logs needed to keep the service running properly and securely. We do not collect precise device location
f. Contact/Feedback Information
If you contact us through the feedback form or our official channels, we collect the information you provide in that message in order to respond to you
2 How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above for the following purposes
- Providing the service — creating and managing your account, displaying your profile and uploaded content, processing downloads, likes, and reviews
- Communication — delivering messages between users, notifying you about replies to your reviews, new messages, and important announcements about the service
- Security & abuse prevention — detecting and preventing fraud, spam, impersonation, and violations of our Terms of Service
- Improving the service — understanding how features are used in aggregate so we can fix bugs and improve the experience
- Verified Developer status — automatically calculating eligibility for the verified developer badge based on your public upload and download statistics
- Responding to you — answering questions or reports you send through feedback or our official contact channels
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising purposes
3 How We Store & Protect Your Information
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never visible to us or to other users in plain text
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we are committed to protecting your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security
We intentionally keep the technical details of our internal infrastructure confidential, as disclosing them would not benefit users and could create unnecessary security risk
4 Sharing With Third Parties
We only share your information in the following limited circumstances
- Public by design — your username, profile, uploaded modules/apps, reviews, and public statistics (downloads, likes, ratings) are visible to anyone who uses Library Modules, since this is the core purpose of the platform
- Service providers — we use trusted third-party infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting, content delivery, and push notification services) strictly to operate the app. These providers only process data on our behalf and are not authorized to use it for their own purposes
- External payment links — the Library Modules Store feature may direct you to third-party payment pages (such as Lynk.id or similar services) to complete a purchase. Any payment information you enter on those pages is handled directly by that third party under their own privacy policy — we do not collect or store your payment card details
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process, protect our rights, or protect the safety of our users or the public
5 Cookies & Local Storage
Library Modules uses your browser or app's local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. We do not use tracking cookies for third-party advertising purposes. You may clear this local data at any time through your browser or device settings, though doing so will sign you out
6 Push Notifications
If you use the Library Modules mobile app and allow notification permissions, we may send you push notifications about new messages, replies to your reviews, and important announcements. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's notification settings
7 Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights and choices regarding your information

Please note: content you have shared publicly (such as uploaded modules or reviews) may still be visible to other users or retained in backups for a reasonable period after deletion, for integrity and abuse-prevention purposes
8 Children's Privacy
Library Modules is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action, including deletion of that data

We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. If you request account deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements
